1. Who we are

Vlna.app is a social proximity app. The operator and data controller is Peter Hidas, IČO: 43214282, DIČ: 1049179120, with registered address at Andovská 10218/25D, 940 02 Nové Zámky, Slovakia. You can contact the operator at hello@vlna.app. Private contact: hidas@icloud.com.

2. What data we collect

Nickname — the display name you choose during onboarding.
Avatar colour — the colour you pick to represent yourself.
Profile photo — only if you voluntarily upload one.
Current song — only if you voluntarily share one.
Location — shared with nearby users only while the app is open. We do not store location history on our servers.
Device push token — to send you notifications (optional).

3. Messages

Direct messages are relayed through our server in real-time and are not stored on our servers. Messages exist only in the local storage of the devices involved.

4. In-app purchases (RevenueCat)

Vlna.app uses RevenueCat to process subscriptions (Vlna.app King). RevenueCat may collect your device ID and purchase history to validate entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. All payments are processed by Apple App Store — we never see your payment details.

5. How we use your data

To display your profile to nearby users on the radar.
To send notifications you opt into.
To validate your subscription status.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

6. Data retention & deletion

Your profile is stored on our server as long as you use the app. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your nickname, avatar, and photo from our servers.

7. Children

Vlna.app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
